# Change Log – Feature Updates – December 2025

We’re excited to share that several new features were released on December 18, 2025. Below is a brief overview of each enhancement. We hope these updates add value to your experience with Usked, and as always, please don’t hesitate to contact Usked Solutions if you have any questions.

**24-hour Time Format Support **

Usked now supports a 24-hour clock option across the entire platform - from the request form through reporting. For Amazon users, the default time format is determined by the user’s language code (12-hour or 24-hour). A new system setting is also available that allows licensees to override this behavior and enforce a 24-hour format for all users, regardless of language code.

**Filtered Service Provider Dropdown on the Request Form**

The Service Provider name dropdown can now be dynamically filtered based on the service selected for each service provider slot. A new “Refresh Options” button appears next to each Service Provider name field. Clicking this button refreshes the page and updates the provider list to include only those who suppo7rt the selected service. To change a slot to a different service, schedulers should update the service selection, click “refresh options”, then choose a new service provider.

**Event Type Dropdown (Standardized Event Naming) **

Usked now offers an Event Type dropdown with standardized, predefined options, replacing the freeform Event Name field. This change helps reduce inconsistent naming and improves reporting accuracy. Event Types can be managed under Settings > Event Types, where options can be added, edited or removed. The Event Type dropdown appears on the Event Name & Details tab of the service request form and is available in the following reports: Customer Billing Report, Service Provider Pay Report, Requests List, and Assignments List.

**Visibility of Requests from Deactivated Groups**

Previously, when a group was deactivated, its group members (requesters and clients) could no longer view historical service requests tied to that group. Usked now allows group members to view these requests in a read-only state. No actions - such as editing or cloning - can be taken.

**Option to Skip the Confirmation Process**

For licensees who do not require a confirmation step in their scheduling workflow, Usked now offers the ability to skip confirmations. This feature must be enabled by Usked. When active:

- Submitted requests automatically move to Confirmed status
- Service provider slots are created automatically
- The service assigned to service provider slots is based on the service selected for the first client.
- Customer billing and service provider pay codes default to the first available options in the system
- Updates to service requests and recurring jobs also bypass re-confirmation.

**User-level Preferred and Do-Not-Send (DNS) Service Provider Lists**

Preferred and DNS provider lists were previously available at the Group, Group Member, and Request levels. Usked now adds a fourth level: User. Users can manage their preferred service providers via Your Account, while DNS providers can be configured by schedulers only.

**Dress Code Selection**

Dress codes options are managed under Settings > Dress Codes.

- If only one dress code exists, it is automatically selected on the service request form.
- A new system setting allows the first dress code in the list to be automatically displayed and selected, regardless of how many options exist.

**Audience Size Selection**

Audience sizes options are managed under Settings > Audience Sizes.

- If only one audience size exists,it is automatically selected on the service request form.
- A new system setting allows the first audience size in the list to be automatically displayed and selected, regardless of the number of options.

**Usked 1.0 Code Optimization**

Following our migration to a new AWS infrastructure on November 1, some users experienced slower load times on certain Usked pages. While the migration significantly improved reliability

and availability, it also introduced increased database response times in portions of the Usked 1.0 codebase.

Our engineering team is actively optimizing the most impacted areas. Internal testing has already shown performance improvements of up to 150x on select pages, with additional enhancements continuing to roll out.

Please also note an important functional update: user, client, and service provider typeahead results are now sorted by last name, then first name.
