Blasts and Offers are the two ways to communicate new or future service requests with your service provider team to see who is available. Let’s find out how each works! #

A blast is like a megaphone. You’d use it when you want to communicate a service request with as many service providers as possible. An offer is the quieter approach, going straight to the person.
For example, using the images above, you’d want to use a blast to reach out to all the dogs you’d think would be great for the job. If you already have a dog in mind, that would be a situation when you’d go directly to your canine.
There are a few key differences between the two. Let’s take a look at this chart!
| Email Blasts | Offers | |
| Can be sent via email | ✔️ | ✔️ |
| Can be sent via SMS | ✔️ | |
| The job will need to be posted beforehand | ✔️ | |
| Service providers can express interest | ✔️ | ✔️ |
| Service providers can decline | ✔️(web version only) |
Still not sure which one you need? Here are a few things to consider to determine which one you need:
- Type of assignment
Is it a general assignment that any of your available or preferred service providers would be fine to cover? If so, you can blast it. Is it a specialty assignment that you would prefer to assign a more specialized service provider too? If so, you may want to offer it to a handful of specialized service providers. - How soon you need to fill the assignment
Do you have time to wait on responses from a select few? If so, you may want to use offers. If you need to get the word out and see who’s available ASAP you may consider an email blast.
